The idea is to initiate environmental friendly activities/models in the school for the students so that students can learn from practical work. This includes organic vegetable cultivation, soil and water conservation, and proper management of waste materials including plastics.

The program was inaugurated by Dr T. N. Seema, former Member of Parliament, and Chairperson of Haritha Kerala Mission.

The program initiated under SEED which is a Mathrubhoomi (News Paper) initiative and Haritha Kerala Mission.
